ACVPM Continuing Education Webinar 11 April 2023: "USDA FSIS Salmonella Initiative "

The ACVPM Continuing Education Committee is pleased to invite ACVPM diplomates, ACVPM exam candidates, and active members of our partner organizations, the National Association of Federal Veterinarians, the American Association of Food Safety and Public Health Veterinarians, and the US Animal Health Association, to an upcoming continuing education webinar. Dr Kis Roberstson-Hale will present 'USDA-FSIS Salmonella Initiative'. The presentation is designed to provide attendees a better understanding of Salmonella in poultry products, provide an overview of actions taken by USDA-FSIS to reduce foodborne illness due to Salmonella, and to convey pre- and post-harvest mitigation strategies focused on reducing Salmonella in poultry and poultry products. The ACVPM has received RACE approval for this presentation. The session is also approved for continuing veterinary education credit by the State of New York. Participants must attend at least 50 minutes of the webinar to receive a one hour CE certificate.
