NAFV is pleased to invite members to an upcoming continuing education webinar. Dr. Gabrial Eddings will present "Food Defense: Responsibilities of Regulatory Authorities and Regulated Industries". Food Defense is procedures and processes implemented to protect against intentional contamination of the food supply.
This presentation will describe the roles and responsibilities of various entities in food defense, including FSIS as a regulatory authority. Additionally, will discuss the concept of a functional food defense plan and consideration food production facilities can use to prevent, protect again, mitigate, respond to, and recover from an intentional contamination incident.
Participants must attend at least 50 minutes of the webinar to receive a one-hour CE certificate.
