Dr. Kevin Jacque will present "On-Farm Antimicrobial Stewardship: A Systems Approach". The challenges in an on-farm setting can be numerous, but antimicrobial stewardship does not have to be difficult. During this presentation, Dr. Jacque, will analyze, review, and critique current common farm practices that involve antimicrobial use. The effect of antimicrobial drugs is limited to their proper use and timely, appropriate implementation during clinical needs. Dr. Jacque will discuss in a systems-based approach the good, the bad, and the ugly. Multiple species examples will be used and current industry topics will be discussed.
Participants must attend at least 50 minutes of the webinar to receive a one-hour CE certificate.
