Additional HPAI Cases Confirmed in SD

Three new cases of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza have been confirmed in South Dakota this week.

USDA says all three cases have been confirmed in commercial turkey farms located in neighboring counties in southeastern part of the state, affecting more than 95,600 birds.

This fall, USDA says there have been 7 commercial turkey flocks and 291,600 birds affected by HPAI in South Dakota.
