Farm Bill 2023 Trade and Horticulture Hearing: On February 1, the Senate Agriculture Committee (Stabenow, D-MI) will hold a hearing on the trade and horticulture titles of the Farm Bill. This is the first of many hearings the Committee has planned as we gear up for the 2023 Farm Bill. Jenny Moffitt, Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Program, will testify. A live video of the 10 a.m. hearing will be on the committee’s website.

Rep. EliseThe committee's website will have a live video of the 10 a.m.  hearingH.R. 210 – Stamp Out Invasive Species Act. This bill would direct the U.S. Postal Service to issue and sell a Combating Invasive Species Semipostal Stamp. Proceeds from the sale of the stamp would be transferred in equal proportion to the Department of the Interior and the Department of Agriculture for combating invasive species. The stamp would be made available to the public for two years.
