We are excited to announce and solicit applicants for the upcoming FY25 Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program (SESCDP).  The SESCDP is a 15-month program. The application period opens in May 2024 and will be posted on USAJOBS for a minimum of 14 days.  

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Senior Executive Service (SES) Candidate Development Program (CDP) is a competitive program designed to produce a cadre of SES-ready federal employees capable of being placed non-competitively into SES vacancies. 

Are You Eligible?

• Applicants must be civil service employees with at least one-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level (and above).
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Resume will be required.
• Must submit Executive Core Qualifications Narrative (not to exceed 5 pages).

Get ready now! Applications will open in May 2024 and will be posted on www.usajobs.gov.  The SESCDP will commence in December 2024 and is designed as a 15-month cohort. The program components will be offered in person and virtually.
